У данного типа воскотопки сырье, загруженное в барабан воскотопки (сушь, или рамки с сушью), прогревается паром, воск в сырье растапливается в жидкость, под действием центробежной силы процеживается через отверстия в стенках барабана и выбрасывается на стенку бака. Твердые частицы суши при этом задерживаются в барабане. Далее воск стекает по стенке бака вниз и с каплями сконденсированного пара выходит через сливной кран в приемный сосуд, где застывает пластом поверх воды.
Пара для работы воскотопки производится парогенератором, который нужно купить отдельно. Эксплуатация центробежной воскотопки под парогенератор разрешается только вне помещения.

Пара для роботи воскотопки виробляється парогенератором, який треба придбати окремо. Експлуатація воскотопки відцентрової під парогенератор дозволяється лише поза приміщенням.
